MEMORIAL PARK  CONNECTOR

The Memorial Park Connector and related Bikeway Segments 1, 2 and 3 will complete a critical 5.3 mile portion of Houston’s long range goal of a 30 mile connector loop linking people to key destinations across the city via bike and walking paths. Our  Masterplan and designs for specific unique features connect Uptown Houston to Memorial Park by a Buffalo Bayou-spanning bridge that acts as a new southern entrance to the park. Bike paths lead northeast to the existing Heights bike path, northwest to the METRO Northwest Transit Center and south along railroad and Centerpoint utility easements to Richmond Avenue.

This project has been well received and is currently in the funding phase.  Subsequent design and development phases will soon begin.
